Getting to Lotus Arena, Phuket

Choeng Thale, Phuket

Directions, transport, and parking guidance for reaching the venue.

By Car

Choeng Thale is reached from the island's north–south roads via Srisoonthorn Road (Route 4030) towards the Bang Tao and Laguna area.

From the Airport

Phuket International Airport (HKT) is roughly 20–30 minutes north by road, making it the usual arrival point for overseas visitors.

Taxi & Ride-Hailing

Metered taxis and the Grab app both operate across Phuket, with drop-off near the venue in the Choeng Thale area.

Songthaew & Local Roads

Local songthaew vans serve the west-coast routes; from Phuket Town they run towards the Bang Tao and Surin beach areas.

No Rail Network

Phuket has no metro or train, so plan around road transport and allow extra time on busy event evenings.

Accessible Arrival

Level drop-off by car or taxi is the simplest accessible option; contact support in advance to confirm arrangements.

By Car from Phuket International Airport

Phuket International Airport (HKT) sits at the north of the island, and Lotus Arena is around 20–30 minutes south in Choeng Thale by road, depending on traffic. Most drivers follow the main Thepkrasattri Road corridor south before turning west towards the Bang Tao and Laguna area.

Navigation apps such as Google Maps route reliably to Choeng Thale and the surrounding roads. Airport taxis and pre-booked hotel transfers are the common ways to cover this stretch for visitors who are not driving themselves.

Allow extra time close to doors opening, as the west-coast approach roads around Choeng Thale can be busier before popular shows.

By Car from Phuket Town & the South

From Phuket Town in the south-east, the drive to Choeng Thale runs north-west across the island and typically takes around 30–40 minutes outside peak times. Drivers usually pick up Srisoonthorn Road (Route 4030) to reach the Bang Tao, Laguna, and Choeng Thale area.

From the Patong and Kata beach areas on the south-west coast, routes head north up the coast towards Surin and Bang Tao before reaching Choeng Thale. Traffic on the island's two-lane roads can be slow in the evenings, so plan accordingly for events with an evening start.

Live-traffic navigation handles routing between the districts well. Keep an eye on conditions on event nights, when more vehicles converge on the west-coast resort area.

Taxi, Grab & Local Transport

Metered taxis and the Grab ride-hailing app both operate throughout Phuket, and a taxi or Grab is the most straightforward way to reach Lotus Arena without driving. Confirm the drop-off point in the Choeng Thale area with your driver when you book the ride.

Local songthaew vans run along the main west-coast routes and between Phuket Town and the northern beaches, though they follow set routes rather than door-to-door service and stop running earlier in the evening. For a late finish, arranging a taxi or Grab for the return trip is more reliable.

Because Phuket has no metro or train network, all journeys to the venue are by road. On busy event nights, demand for cars around Choeng Thale rises as the show ends, so it is worth planning the return trip before you set out.

Parking & Accessibility

Lotus Arena is in the Choeng Thale area of Phuket, and parking arrangements are confirmed per event. Where on-site or nearby parking is offered, arriving early on busy nights gives the best chance of a space close to the entrance.

For visitors arriving by taxi or Grab, a level drop-off close to the entrance is usually the simplest option, including for anyone with mobility needs. If you have specific accessibility requirements, contact support@phuketlotusarena.com ahead of your visit so arrangements can be confirmed.
